Marie continued to make even purer polonium and radium.By1910,ahe had produced pure radium and shown that it was a brilliant -white metal.She even found its melting point, 700 degree celcius.
That same year,Marie published her 971-page work,
Traite de radioactivite(treatise on Radioactivity).
In 1911,came another great honor-The Nobel Prize for chemistry,awarded to Marie alone for isolating pure radium.
